How I Spent my Chinese New Year Eve 2012.

After a hearty night @ The BFF HQ with Rongyue, Nicholas, PeiSin, Jean and Terence, and with terence and jean went back home early last night, the rest of us went for breakfast @ a coffee shop near hq. it was proudly sponsered by The BFF HQ manager! Thanks xiao rong. afterwhich i sent pei sin home and nicholas to the mrt station. as for me, showered and sleep..

today i was actually dam freaking emo... Chinese New Year Eve, when families gather and have reunion dinner together... the warmth.. the tradition.. but oh well.. as for me.. how did i spent my eve? woke up in the afternoon, decided to take a swim at the Caribbean... after which went for sauna, showered, and drove myself to vivo to catch a movie... The journey 2: The Mysterious Island. the movie was alright.. pretty nice scenes.. love grew between the young actors.. i'll give it a 3.5 stars out of 5!

had macdonals for dinner lor... thinking of all my friends and kids having reunion dinner with their families and me? singapore alone.. being like self sympathise... decided not to be like this... LTA Choo called me after i sent him a CNY message and we had a long chat just like last time when I was still serving my NS with SCDF. it really warm my heart up and its dam great to hear his voice once again! later at 0000 hrs m going down to the temple to wish for a great year ahead!

Day 6 of 2012

waiting for mom and dad's return from morning breakfast

took the car and had a swim at clementi swimming complex!

the swim and refreshing and the sun was good!

did around 11 laps.. and stayed in the waters awhile before i get up from the pool

showered and get some lunch and home i go!

dump everything into my room, had my lunch and changed into half u

training was... exasperating.... stepped into the cadet room.. seeing a NCO polishing her boots despite saying "DO NOT POLISH YOUR BOOTS IN THE CADET ROOM!" or rather.. they should be polishing their boots before they even come for training ya? well.. something agitated me further and my blood was already boiling... gathered all the NCOs and gave them a good lecture.. about holiday trainings... attendance for normal training... not being responsible enough for their own actions.. and the CCA open house incident. seriously... wad is happening?

aniway.. yup.. as the time goes i feel alot better.. especially taking sec 2s for drills.. :O

alot alot alot alot alot of improvements for the sec 2s.. gosh...

sec 3s had team building games and it seems to be working pretty okay.. listening to the feedbacks from debrief.. hope 长江后浪推前浪 is really coming true... yup pinning hopes on them.

had subway for dinner! its been awhile seriously... and took a walk to WCPark and chill before ending my day.

Went shopping with the people nowsadays!!!!!

while the guys were shopping at H&M, i went UoB to open up and acct! :D

than proceeded on to ION to shop at Uniclo lo...

oh ya. i checked out AnF today.. ok lor... nth much except for the people inside were pretty fit and stuff

pity the poor fello half nakedly standing inside that cold shop. zzz whereas 2 guys all covered up standing outside the shop.. goodness.. haha.

but i guess these shops dun cater to people like me luh.. so sad.

chilled at starbucks and went back to unit for fancy where as ps went for tuition and the 2 boys went home! :D

Day 4 of 2012

Well, today was a busy and travelling day for me

waited for parents to return home from JB and drove down to school to collect study materials for the next trimester! looks like m so gonna die. lol

anyway, after collecting, went swimming for 2 hours before making a trip down to TSS to join Zheming and OC down to HTA for Campcraft Competition briefing.

had lunch at the cafeteria and met some Jrs there.. had a little chat here and there..

until peisin reach HTA and off i go to the harmony hall to meet them (Rongyue, Peisin, luppy)

and the sad case is.. we were denied access into the harmony hall cos oni 1 CI/ Officer can attend the briefing with the cadets. so sad.

Hui xin was out too. so the rest of us who were not able to go in went back to the cafeteria and chatted instead!

after the briefing went to have dinner with YJ and HX! kor joined us later and yea lor.. thats all la for today.

Day 3 of 2012

Went JB with Nicholas Tang today! not boiboi Tang but Tang weiwei! :D

haha.. its a super impromtu outing lo.. especially to JB...

agreed to meet at JE station at 10am!

took a bus to the Woodlands checkpoint and the msia checkpoint

well.. 1st stop is to go to the money changer to have some cash changed

then, we proceeded on to sushi king for our lunch at 1100 hrs as dear weiwei is hungry!

you know wad?

Rongyue and friends came in to the same restaurant as we did!

such coincidence! LOL

wei wei and i were like OMG this couldn't be happening!! :O

but it did. lol

after the satisfying lunch, weiwei and i went for our little shopping trip whereas xiaorong joined his friends to the branded outlet shopping centre! saying that he'll call me when he reaches singapore! haha

well, nic and i bought a few stuffs.. and had a little break at starbucks before completing the last part of our shopping and ending the trip with a movie "Jack and Jill"

while on our way to the checkpoint again, guess wad? we bumped into rongyue and friends again!!! LOL.. haha.. seriously... he and his friends were like going to KSL building for dinner.. he seems reluctant... but oh well.. peer pressure.. he succumbed to it and went off with them where weiwei and i returned to SG.

wad a day with weiwei! :D

aniway... i bid farewell to weiwei and off i go meeting jj for dinner! it was his birthday leh.. felt pretty bad as i did not get him anything.. thats why a dinner with him is a must! :D

had dinner at swensens.. followed by a dessert at the dessert shop. dunno the name lah. oh it was at vivo city btw. making things clearer. haha.

chatted ALOT with him.. and yea.. finding him leading such a life.. i too, felt peace and happy for him. hope things will get better for him ya!

returned home with a super tired body, shower and sleeeps!

31st December, the day arrives again... but with different people within the clique

same location... not much of a different feelings... but does have difference...

had steamboat, crapping and playing card games...

alot of us are taking things for granted.

yup.. saying.. you are good at it.. but doing.. you sucked.. until someone talks about it.. then you talk about it.. and probably do something... some.

oh well.. shouldn't be saying things like this.. but well...

always hate this.. alot of people know that.. but they din;t say.. cos they are waiting who has the least threshold and trash things out. and the reason i wrote this is hope he/she will read this and realise... self awareness.

A Day with the Boys

well, pretty looking forward to this day's arrival... can;t wait to meet up the boys later.

but 1st.. i have a fancy drill training to attend!

woke up at 0645hrs.. had a quick shower.. changed to my 1/2 U and off i go..

meeting Gillian @ the Market for breakfast! :D

its been awhile.. hoping that these kind of "gathering" would make gillian wana come back and serve the unit..

we chatted and had breakfast.. while waiting for the rest to arrive..

when i was about to finish, kok siong and victor came along... oh well.. had some breakie and we are on our way to school...

fancy drill training was pretty finalised except for some changes here and there.. i joined in the squad.. leaving the CIs to make the decisions on the formation and stuff.. gave my inputs here and there a little... yup..

being inside the squad made me recall the times when i was still a cadet.. when training was XXXXX times tougher and yet we overcome.. and grow up.. to who we are today... always telling myself that time has changed.. nothing will be there forever... unless you are a statue though..

time flies and its 1030.. i gotta go.. so i left the kids with the CIs and off i go.. meeting YJ @ Clementi station before making our way to Toa Payoh to meet Ryan and Zi Yang...

while in tunnel.. i tried calling ryan... din;t pick up and he called me again after awhile.. he got the time mixed up! he thought its 1230 along when out meeting time is supposed to me 1200 hrs!

haha.. aniway.. he said he would change and come out from his place.. so yea... zi yang msged and inform me that he'll be late.. so YJ and i walked up to the Fairprice and bought some tins of cookies! :D oh well.. don;t mentioned it already..

zi yang arrived shortly after we paid for our merchandise and YJ led us to the bus interchange and took a bus to nicky's place.. informed Ryan telling him we are going

Bought chicken rice and decided to eat at nic's place lor... oh ya.. ryan caught us in time before we set off to nic's place... ah well.. crossed the road and entered the condo without much effort.. we settled outselves at the pool side table and we eat while waiting for nic! that boy ar.. haish! he forgot to book the pool table!!!!! ROARS!!!!

so yea.. ryan took us to Tanglin CC (not in the vicinity if TSS) to play bball 1st while nic waits for the guard to come back so he can book the games room.

the basket ball game was awesome! we should play basketball together often boys! :)

played a few matches and taught the boys the "man jiang" game.. haven been perspiring like this while playing basketball in awhile already... reminds me of sec sch times... again.. :P

YJ had a blister on his leg so he couldn;t continue after a match.. :( aniway.. nic and ryan looked funny when dribbling the ball.. haha.. we should have more practice sessions ya.

aniway.. after the hot and sweaty game.. we make out way back to nic's place for pool... another great time and great game together.. although i was tired after training and the basketball game.. but i guess.. its really fun to have young people around to energise you! :D

soon its 6 pm.. zi yang had to go off .. and the rest of the 4 of us played daidi for another few rounds before me and jy took 154 to clementi to have our dinner...

its really a nice day out boys.

back from HOBTC Adventure Training Camp! :)

i'm so tired..

this camp left me with alot of thoughts in mind

why this batch of HOTs are so different from mine

why we chose the "wrong time" to engage the trainees...

the "right" protocol

are we prepared for this course as instructors?

but anyway, watching the "Bandits" improved over the past few days

felt kinda "安慰" that advices were taken in.

Don't feel tat I'm a very proficient instructor

but this experience made me know myself more

and explore on where can i improve myself as a instructor in such a context.

having working with children and teens

i find that i have problems communication with adults now.. haha..

aniway, this experience as a HO Instructor does made me think.. and improve as a person.

Today was a day to enjoy meself even i thought that i din;t make a good job out of the essays after lecturer's comments, but i did put in ALOT of effort it. never worked so hard in my life till i have frequent headaches! zzz so i decided to take the day off once in awhile.

woke up pretty early today.. at around 7.30 am? haha.. laze in the bed for awhile and decided to go swimming! since the sun is out and warm.. the swimming pool is full of people with 3 lanes blocked out! goodness.. barely able to swim thru n fro.. until the classes were over... but by then the sky turns dark and its time to wash up and have my brunch! :) before i got stuck at the swimming complex the other time =.=

alright! since theres 1 1/2 hours to go to meet the people from class, i settled myself at clementi hawker and have a nice and slow brunch! had fried carrot cake as starters... rest for 45 miins before i go for 2nd round of brunch of yam cakes and chee cheong fan! :D shiock!

took a train down to buona vista and since m early, did a little shopping at "Art Friend" aniway, proceeded on when everyone has reached! :S (lazy to type)

Woke up, planning to start off with psy 173 Stats assignment followed by revising my business accounting work as m having the test tml. din;t have breakfast.. parents were not at home.... on the PC, went to have a shower, facebook and twitter as usual... allowing myself to warm up before studying... haha.. than i saw blur boy tweeting.... still say wanna study end up tweeting and FB-ing! aha.. than i kinda joined into the conversation as well... end up both of us met at KAP macdonals to study! as usual.. i was concentrating.. well.. both of us are.. until HCI started streaming into the macdonals! saw kim yao and yu jia... too bad they din;t see us for like their whole session there although kim yao is like sitting right behind us. haha.. oh well.. as wad nic says.. perhaps he's just too concentrate on his friends. so yea...

have been a productive day i might say. i did quite alot consider the fact that m studying outside... perhaps also that m older now... tend to be more discipline.. or perhaps cos we are still quite new to each other? so we dint;t kinda talk alot? LOL! aniway, nic asked yuqi and si jia over to study as well.. and als to bring a physics text along with them! lol.. poor girls have to lug the textbook over to nic.. hahha... aniway, the girls studied with us as well! we taught the boy chinese summary... which i hope i really knows how to do it by now.. oh my goodness.... time flies when you are productive.. we all went home after that..

sorry i din;t join you for dinner... as a promise to myself. no going out for the 2 weeks i can;t afford to lose that kind of time for now. hope you'll understand! :(

Met up with nic and rach at Dhoby Ghaut at 9am to study! had breakie at BK (WASTE MONEY), we went carrefour to buy some food and drinks before proceeding to SMU to study! the environment is great for studying! m loving SMU already!

while studying, philo and florance suddenly call me! haha.. they were having CIBTC mentoring and planning! Brenben is here as well! nice... so nice to see familiar faces outside.. feels warm! :)

lunch time! the kids went out to get food where i stayed to do my accounting and look after the stuffs! haha... thanks kids.

had chicken rice with the shyt after taste taupok LOL and thanks nic for the GC treat! :)

once again, its 6 and the kids made their way home and i made my way to school for business accounting paper... goodness.. the paper is.. horrendous can? super bad headache attack.. i can already imagining myself breakdown inside the exam room.. LOL.. that's how stress i am at that point of time.. aniway.. made my way home by MRT and by Cab due to the heavy rain!

sleep quite not peacefully by lao saiing at 4 am.

02/10/2011, Sunday, Sunny!

woke up at 9am! saw the message from nic asking if we wanted to go over to jina's place to study! i was like WUUUDDDD that far ya? LOL... our initial plan was to go to national lib to study. but... aniway, as easy going friends, decided to go over there in the end. i asked the kids to go ahead 1st cos i'm really late. haven shower.. haven everything... so i called mom and dad see if they were using the car after they are home from the market. thank god dad is not using. so i took the car! took me a 40 mins drive to buangkok! haha.. that's how far jina lives... the environment was okay... seems nice... jina came to pick me up! :)

saw the people inside already studying! settled down as soon as i can and started looking for psy 171 articles! haha... crap abit.. study abit.. crap abit.. soon it was lunch! thanks aunty for buying us lunch! really really appreciate it. dint expect such nice hospitality from jina and parents! :) and her mom though m 14!!!!!!!! LOL!@!#!@#!@# haha.. getting younger by the year eh.

made our way to NTUC and get some food and drnks -again- for studying! kitty din;t manage to come cos his mom last min change her mind. so sad.. if nt it will be a reunion for us! :(

soon it was 6. once again. we bid each other farewell.

it was really nice to meet the kids again.

aniway, saw Yong hui @ IMM earlier.. and when i'm about to make a turn, i saw his mom and dad..with him.. yong hui held his mom's arm and kinda whispered something in her ears.. that moment.. i thought... family togetherness is really something to think about.. you dun have to be rich to be happy.. you dun have to own a car and drive your family around to be happy... a family of 3.. taking a bus.. crossing the road... they seemed happy.. made me have this though....

Happiness seems easy for people who leads a simple life

The more you ask for, the happiness you wanted seems harder to get.

nothing much for today

woke up early.. like 6.45? to shower and started packing my stuffs.. preparing for the departure to singapore later after breakfast! soon, mom and dad woke up too! say to have breakfast than we come up and pack our stuffs!

the same alley where I had my 1st day dinner.. so different from the night right? everyone is selling whatever they have.. and i mean.. whatever! from handphone batteries.. to shoes.. so combs... so whatever! aha really random... no one is selling a particulaar item, or a category of stuff.

after Yong Peng dad took over the wheel and i slept awhile in the car.. weather is so humid... hot... feeling sleepy after lunch! hahaha...

KL Day 2

woke up like 6 plus super early cos bo bian last night have to sleep early with parents... with no exceptions tonight as well.. now they are sleeping already and m still typing this post in the dark! :x.. well today is gonna be a super alone in KL day... cos mom and dad booked a bus to genting highlands for themselves while me.. m gonna walk around KL around the vicinity of Pudu Raya and Petaling street!

i'll narrate as i post pictures!

well, after breakfast dad took me and mom for a short walk around the area before i proceed back to the hotel to rest since the shops won;t be open until 10 plus? :D than mom and dad made their way to the bus station to Genting!

chilled in the room and watch some concert by this hongkong artist... not too bad.. had my camera charged up and at around 0940 hrs i set off to Sungei Wang shopping mall! :D

arr yes... soon i reached and i window shopped a awhile... i went into parkson... saw this very nice renoma shirt... but its like 79 RM after a 50% discount.... i think i better wait till john little mega expo sale.. ahha.. shirts will be cheaper there! :)

There;s a Daiso opened at Sungei Wang too! of cos i wun give it a miss... so i entered the shop... seems abit gloomy... nothing much.. but since after conversion is like buy 4 get 1 free, i bought some stuffs which will be shown later! :P

Oh yes! theres this dove chocolate guy.. he's promoting this dove chocolates... he offered me this piece of chocolate and started toking about dove chocolates.. how smooth the chocolate is.. etc.. its not about wad he said about the chocolate.. its about how he said to me... i spoke to him in mandarin... and he tries to speak to me in english... not very fluent.. but i dun wan to hurt him by saying.. actually u can speak to me in mandarin... but since he's trying to practice.. i assume. i shall let him be and bought some chocolates from him since its really quite cheap also.. lols

after walking around the mall for like 2 hrs... its like 12 pm already... how can i forget theres A&W opposite the mall? so yup! to A&W it is!!!!

KL Day 1

woke up a few times this morning.. couldn't sleep... just keeping my eyes close and hoping that i will be able to get some rest! aniway, soon its 6 am and mom started to knock on my door... despite the notice on my door saying.. i will be waking up @ 6.10.. i got pissed of course.. zzz... like in one of my dreams in the past i dreamt that my parents dun understand me at all.. now... its all coming true... they called me ytd saying that i should wake up at 6 cos i haven pack my bag and all... but i did everything and i even got my white card filled before going to bed... haii.... i wonder... wad kind of a son m i in their eyes even though m already responsible enough to do all these... all the time....

aniway.. showered and off we go! had breakfast at JB before flying off to KL! i told dad i would take over the wheel once we get into the north south high way.. and so i did... cruising at a comfortable speed of 130 to 140km/hr... about 2 hrs 50 mins later we reached KL! had yong tau hu for lunch and checked into the hotel!

dad brought mom n i to the new bus station near Cheras from Pudu Raya....

Hui Xin's Birthday Celebration

awaken by the cracking sound of the thunderous lightning and thunder, i couldn;t go back to sleep already... this is how bitch i am.. not being able to go back to sleep once i find that the sky is bright so high even if the weather is super good to sleep in...

aniway its around 8 am.. on the com.. pack my bad for the event later.. and took 154 down to JP to meet kor and gang.. several messages were xchange.. i reached JP! 1st thing hui xin asked me was.. Sir, how tall are u? 1st thing that came to my mind was... m I that prominent? hmm... aniway.. the kids wanna buy some stuffs from NTUC for the parteh later on.. followed them up and i discovered that m hungry... so.. kor accompanied me down to Fei Siong for a bowl of Fish Ball Noodles! :X add noodles but no add sauce! yucks please.. zzz

went back to ntuc to find the kids... they had this trolley full of food and drinks... at 1st i was wondering if they have enough to eat so... kor n i decided to buy more food on our own.. hahaha... Bought 2 tins of wafers and drinks...

after paying and all, HX said that the rest of the people will meet us at the barrage itself! so we go on and take a train there!

upon reaching marina bay station, we took a shuttle bus (thank god) to marina barrage! settled down and started dreaming...~ for me though.. while the kids are setting up the kite.. with Yee cheong doubting their tying and flying skills... hahahah.. after awhile kor and i took over the kite.. while the kids went down to fill up the water bomb.. we had a emo time up there... until kor tried to redo the string that was tied to the wadever u call that.. lol! shall narrate we we go thru the pictures

Well, today is Course Orientation... nothing much... the presenters from school simply fail.. fail to the max!.. reading from a script nvm.. but they read like little children.. simply buay tahan... not 1 not 2 ... but 3 presenters!!!!!! oh my godddd.... even our course manager is so... disappointed.. talking about quality education.. stuff are not properly educated and equiped with skills... m doubting the quality assurance...

aniway.. made some new friends today! simply great! ahhaa... aniway.. my classs has oni got 10 students... haha.. gonna be fun! :P

after Dr Max spoke to us and briefed us on Murdoch's structure and stuff, off we go! back home and get mom to wake up and go IMM! bought Vacuum Cleaner bag and steamer! like finally! :P

played maple till 11 plus, again! cos really have nothing to do leh.. hhahaha.. aniway.. sooon we are on our way to pick up big sis and off we go to dunno wad raja restaurant! at jurong east there! wahahha... ate alot alot alot of thing! hohohoo

time flies when u doing house keeping job.. soon its 1230 pm and i went on to shower and change into 1/2 u! than set off to Tanglin to meet the sec2s for lunch! eh cos they are going shooting today! shall accompany them while i still can before i leave them for good.

things were going on as usual... being teased by josh and all! luckily he still knows when m serious hahahaha... aniways... soon we were on our way to HTA! marched the cadets in to the range complex. saw Dominic and 1st thing he asked me is if i brought my full u along! lol! i did lo... so help help be safety officer for them lahs! hahaa

than after which we did all the way to 6 plus than we return to TSS for dismissal! haha.. had dinner with Avon, Augustine and Yiren.. and that's all we have! :)

did nothing much today, morning woke up... thought of altering my bush jacket.. so.. went to the living room and ask dad if he's using the car. guess what? part of the dream actually came true. dad said:"where are you going?" i said, Tanjong Katong alter uniform. Dad said "bing cong ar, sometimes is not i want to say but since you have the time why not u take the bus there instead?" 1st thing that came to my mind was. "that place is so ULU!" i exclaimed! than dad said "why you talk like that leh? now driving is so expensive... erp, carpark.. etc.." i was actaully quite pissed with him.. he really doesn;t understand me. if i can take the bus i will take the bus! m not those people who cannot live without a car. it was like.. since u are not using... theres no ERP, i dunno if theres parking charges... but then, it so convinient to drive there since i know the way, driving is definitely faster than taking the public transport...

so after i showered and prepared my uniform, i drove to tanjong katong as planned.. traffic was okay, theres no ERP... soon i reach my destination is about 15 mins or so.. guess wad? theres no parking charges!!! cos i parked at the private housing near javini! i planned before i drive okay! please dad, u should know your son;s character by now. please, pay more attention to my good points rather than my bad points can? haii!

the process was quick, uncle say i could pick it up by 2nd sep... and if he finishes before 2nd sep he would call me to pick it up at a earlier date. so off i go home... i spend a total less than an hr thru and fro! even mom was surprised why m i back so fast! i was like.. driving is so much easier cos i can find the place easily and the shop is located near the expressway! haii.. if only dad knows...

played maple for awhile.. than off i go for a swim! i did 40 laps again! it was shiock! if wednesday allows i would go for another 40 laps! jia you desmond! its time you show something to the rest of the world! hope i could keep this routine up!

after swimming went to meet sin yah, zhi yu yi ren and augustine for dinner at macdonals... sin yah revealed to me that theres someone in the school who confessed his feelings to her.. so shock when i know that person is actually *******. goodness! what happened! zzz make me thikn of another friend! zzz.. shortly after had dinner, kok came by.. we crapped awhile before we all go home at around 7 pm!

reached home and 1st thing i did is to chiong maple! hahaha.. mechanic is so fun please... everyone should try it1 :D haha... aniway i can;t wait to meet the kids this coming saturday! haha.. played till now lor.. so tired

nothing much happened really, started a new character on maple at the D world, and added

Zhi Xing, okayed till lvl 27 and stopped already.. had enough for the day! did some message exchange with that particular someone, although busy, someone will never fail to start messaging me 1st... hahaa... aniways.. got to make a little more effort to know her better... so really decide.. is this gonna work out. :)

lunch was as usual cooked by dad. mom is being super lazy by lazing around the house, did nothing and sleep, watch tv and eat and sleep again... haii.. this is geting nowhere man, i seriously dunno how can i help her.. hope things would turn better as the time passes.... dun wish to see her suffer in her advance stages of life as she should be enjoying instead of suffering.. haii...

well, supposed to meet with fiona at busstop at 5 pm to take 51 to Jurong together,,,, received at 5.01 pm from Fiona saying that she is coming out from her place to the busstop...being very apolegetic, she explained to me that she hurt her knee yesterday when she was dancing! haha.. aniway, missed the 1st bus and we waited for a 2nd bus, Fiona asked me if they boys would be late... the moment i say that the rate of them being late is quite low, wei xiong messaged me saying tat he''ll be late.. and kelvin lim called say that he just boarded the bus.. oh well.. i took back my words! :X

had a cup of honey with aloe vera without pearl while waiting for the boys arrival. the boys finally came and we were on our way to qianni's house!

A nightmare

had a nightmare last time... a dream that my parents do not understand me at all as their child for like 24 years? not being able to know what kind of a person i'm i... so scary... i recalled myself crying and sobbing so hard that i couldn;t breath... when i woke up.. i thank god that non of it is true.

A Day out @ HTA

Woke up at 0834 hrs today! asked dad if he's using the car till afternoon, said no! yay! showered and off i go to HTA for Home Team Quiz Com! :P

while walking towards the auditorium, Sin Yah called me and ask if i will be attending the competition and where I'm I. i said, will reply her at a later time. not later than 5 mins later as i entered the auditorium, saw the CIs and chatted with them awhile. and saw the kids and waved to them! :) i spotted nicholas too! haha..

aniway, quiz began at around 0940 and here we go! Javier, Jia Wei and I was like guessing the answers and we thought that if we were to have a clicker we could win! After the preliminary rounds, had a short little tea break. Food was okay, not too bad! :X aniways, introduced my kids to the SJI boys and had a little teasing session.. haha.. finally had a un disturbed chat with Nicholas and the boys! :)

2nd rounds and the finals was abit sian already, caused majority of the questions are from SCDF and the NCDCC kids.. some questions are even repeated! so no point and we began chatting with ourselves. Din;t know that our dear Javier faced so many problems back in his unit. couldn;t help much though. aniway, when the results are out, lunch was served. we took photos and more photos and had lunch.

send Mr ouyeong and the kids to JE station and off i go home to rest for the outing later! :P

Happy Birthday Hock!

Breeezed through my Principles of Management Paper and rushed down to Ah Hock's place for his birthday! Saw the boys (ming woon, jin ming, yong ming, wei teck, ah hock, ah hock's bro, Paolo,Eric, Khin Heng and one more classmate) were playing basketball at the court, so i've decided to stand by the fence and watch them awhile...

it took them awhile before they noticed me and i joined them for a game of basketball and badminton! so shiock mans... haha... aniway... time flies and we all go up hock's place for cake cutting! his parents are young. no doubt.. haha... took a video and pictures! so funny lo they all.. lols! aniway, sang the birthday song and ate the cake!

after awhile Tracy, Gillian and Teck took their leave 1st cos its quite late. The rest of us stayed back and i use the Udivine! shiock sia! and the boys are playing PS3!

about 1130 we bid farewell and hock sent us downstairs... wished the boy a happy birthday incase i couldn;t go to sch on wed! hugs* and off i go! :)

dunno that the 1st post i;m gonna post after such a long time could be of this mood. after so many suggestion, effort by the people around you, don;t you feel that you are just wasting everyone efforts? by wasting urself away at home, every single day, sleeping walking around, when u can do alot of meaningful stuffs like going down for exercises, going out for sightseeing, travelling overseas, doing voluntary work? don;t you know how heartache we are? sleeping and eating ur life away. zzz.. dunno wad to say seriously.

think its time to blog something out. hmm.. summarise of what i had done for the past few months!

lets start from December 2010!

I went for my Honorary Officer Basic Training Course for NPCC at the Home Team Academy and Camp Resilience @ Pulau Ubin! and I'm Commisioned as a NPCC Officer holding the rank of H/Inspector!

Training @ HTA was fun! Although it was quite rush as everything was cramped up, but i had make alot of good friends and mentor throughout the course itself! I really enjoyed myself!

Fancy drill training starts also! but too bad i wasn't able to come for every training due to the HO Course! nevertheless, i think the CIs had done a good job training the cadets!

January 2011

ORD Loh! Finally! but it seems to be fast! but as i look back my journey as the CPL Desmond with 1st CD Division, i think its time for me to leave as well! Life in Division was really not easy. But i gained respect and trust from the Senior Officers as well as the Division Commander himself! I would like to thank CPT Soo for recommending me for the Service Excellence Award and the Commission Commendation Award! At least I know, someone actually recognises my effort in the office! actually not just her, but all the more Senior Officers like MAJ Ong, MAJ Lee and LTA Choo.. Thanks Sirs! You guys had made my life in Division easier! not forgetting the privileges i gained as well, being able to dine with the officers in the Seniors Officers mess whenever there are functions and Commander's conference. these are some of the few little things that i felt appreciated. Hi all, i suddenly thought of blogging back and see how much i miss blogging... hmmm

i shall post of something recent!

it shall be my birthday celebration @ Cindy's House with a steamboat session with the following people...

i woke up @ 6 am! doing wad leh?

Today is

Singapore Youth Olympic Games Torch Relay!

haha.. thanks dad for sending me and mom and sis to go down and support me!

its all the way to St Andrews Village @ Potong Pasir nia.. so Gan Dong my Family woke up so early to go down to support me!

i was the 1st Torch Bearer to register for the day!

i was reallie very excited and call Jaber .. he still stucked somewhere in St Andrews Village cos he entered the entrance different from mine.. so too bad man Bro..

Saw LTA Daniel there too! din;t know that he is actually running as well.. wad a surprise! :)

than briefing starts and we had a short photo taking session with the torch and off we go! to our relay sections! there were Coca Cola and Samsung Parade Buses! The volunteers were very high and was drumming and blow the party horns and like dancing! we torch Bearers Board our bus and get ready!

Finally goes off when the crowd slowly increases.. we waved to everyone and i felt like a STAR man,,, reallie.. i can waved and smile to them and they actually smiled and waved back to me... the feeling is DAM SHIOCK!!!!!!! haha.... got reallie high and can;t stop smiling and waving... my hand soon gets very tired and change to another hand... haha.. dam happy!

than when i was about to reach my section, i saw mom and dad waved for the bus to stop... =.=..

took some Family pictures and the last runner came quickly.. i quickly stood to the middle between the media VAN and the pick up busses and wait for the hand over! we did an HIGH 5 and here i go.. with the torch! running my league! it was reallie quick.. before i know it.. i passed on to the next bearer....

after which i board the bus,... with my Bearermates and off to go.. wrote our thoughts in the Torch Bearer's Guest Book and to St Patrick;s School for dismissal... We got our Certificates and Bearer's Badge... it was reallie nice... but den.. the ending is abit.... sad... lols..

No matter.... after the run, my dad brought all of us and JY to eat Curry Fish Head... Chinese Version... quite a funny taste... haha...

after which, we returned home and JY came along as well.. cos m changing and meeting the boys(heng heng and Xiao dong) and go to cindy house to prepare!

Me and JY were in the kitchen opening up the wrappers and chopped the vegs and finger food and place them into different plates for easy serving...

and victor and xiong came.. and EAT loh!!!!!!

eat eat eat.. play play play.. than i went into doggy's room join them xiong pig jy n piggy to slack and watch TV awhile than bro came with the cake... i was like so surprised lah... we went out took some pictures and yea.. they start to play with the cream on my face... it was fun... really... nv reallie experience such enjoyable birthday leh... thanks guys...

after the cake cutting, we watch some lame horrow movie and i fell asleep.. dots.. after everything is done and cleaned up, me n jy tonned at cindy's place while everyone left...

Today was busy busy n busy.. I always say m busy.. Busy with wad?

Well the SCDF is organising a family day carnival at sentosa.. So im kinda in charge of the orderingn of tickets for my division and firestations... Collating is exceptionalkybdifficult when station clerks are incapable of doungbtheir things right... Orders not cfmed.. Keep changing and changing.. Taking their time to reply etc etc.. Making my job very difficult having to confirm orders time and again.. Zzz

Today finally got to collect the tickets from HQ side.. And yea.. Have to distribute... Not only that.. Have to settle my guy's ORD medical checkup letter which was sent to me late... Zzz... March ord transcript was badly done... Goodness!! Helpness!!!

Campcraft Competition 2010, Boys Preliminary

As of my title for this post... i suddenly had this urge to blog this out.. dunno why.. hmmm.. Everything's change... or m i the only one who has not change? the reason why i wrote this post is because of someone whom i know had changed tremendously... or rather i've nv know him(using this for generalise) enough... i suddenly had this feeling m losing this friend very soon... and yes... and i mean very soon..

why things had to go this way? its not meant to be... m so afraid... dunno if a man sld feel this way but at least i am.. . wadever.. m a human too.. i had my fears... fearing of losing a friend.. not the best but at least m comfortable with... but i can say i;ve live in this world for 22 years.... the starting of this friendship.. i knew this day would come... one by one.. leaving... losing contact... but i do reallie hope everyone would stay together but life has to go on..

Woke up at around 7 plus today... Din't do much though... Planned to go swimming today with littleman and probably jy n kok if they able to wake up... Haha... Anyways.. After calling jj i went out and took a bus to clementi swimming complex! Bus was quire crowded when i took bus 78 there.. And oh passes the gantry n i go find myself a place to settle down.. No chair though... Sobx..

Around 5 mins ltr liteman arrived.. Ask him to changed 1st as his lesson is starting soon! Lol... Oh well .. Jj also came just after littleman went for his lesson... Me n jj chatted alot... I seriously nv tok like this before... Nt even to my sec sch mates... Perhaps all of them gave me the comfort to tok it out... M reallie fortunate to meet these boys.. :)

had breakfast at the clementi hawker center... Ordered n eat quite abir of oily food... Haha... After which jj send us to plaza.. As i waned to have my monthly haircut! Oh well...

Oh well.. nth much happened today... haha... i left division for my medical appointment @ NUH in the afternoon... initially afterwhich m gg back to tanglin to tok to the TOs with shakina regarding the norminees for the DEC CIBTC... m wondering actually... wad do they see in the cadets when they are choosing the candidates? but another thing is that.... if someone is willing to learn and wiiling to go thru the course... why not? Leaders are not born to be... they are nurtured to be 1.. so yea... so for i'll take anyone who is ready to be a chief of the pack.. oh aniway... we din;t manage to go back as TOs are not free... due the the collating of the prelim results for the sec 4s... so yea...

aniway.. i went home to slack until its time to go meet the boys @ WCPlaza... oh well... yea.,...

while waiting for jj to come... we or rather... i had a drink @ starbucks while the biys tried the new wad "naughty G" drink thingy which taste quite..... strange... haha...

jj came at arond 7? and we all went over to the hawker opposite for our dinner... we had fried oyster, satay.. popiah and our main dishes... had quite a full dinner..

asusual we had our wekly dosage to WCPark.. but today the park seem disturbed,,, people playing with fire.. burning of stuff... wax all over the pavement... seemed like Mid Autumn Festival is around the corner... but oh well.. the environment is improving.. but not the human brain.. the doesn;t seem to see the danger when the burn things out in the open.. or rather... they shldn't even burn them ... oh well..

Rare guest is coming today.. and its non other than Elmer la... haha... he came right after his dinner and abit of assignment chionging... reached around 10 plus? yea... JY found sits for everyone @ Macdonals... chatted and Was advising the boys on the courses... oh yea... LJ came too... both of them came at the right time... haha.. the boys seemed to be enlightened after this session... so yea...

LJ sent us home after that.. thanks man... polished my boots and KO for me for the nite!

Yo! today is saturday!... oh so wad... so sian... lol.. aniway.. stay at home till abt 4 plus before i set off in my dad's car to Home Team NS for its Annual General Meeting... Covering for Thahir... lols... i reached there dam early... abt 5.. when the meeting dun start until 6? ... i dun like to be late... seriously... haha...

called richard...he's meeting sani and CC lim... than came to meet me.. they registered and *er-hum*... i went down to wait for kh tan leh... yup... than met joshua from BRTC shortly... we sat together and chatted while watching Mr bean clips .. to catch up abit ... haha...

the AGM started when the GOh's reached... lasted abt 15 mins and we are off to get out door gifts and dinner.. still okie.,.. saw CPL Faisal as well.. our platoon SGT for Footdrill competition during Recruit time... and we had CHAMPION! ROARS! haha...so yup... catch up abit with him also and off i go home...

work place today is quite busy ... once again... its the monthly commander;s conference... where officers were usually streseed up and pondering... wad is coming for them during the meeting... whereas just one floor below... in the Regimentation and Welfare office... sat a clerk who is chiong-ing the powerpoint slides out... and pestering his officers for the information...

i dunno why... problem ... always last minute... aniway.. still managed to finish up everything.. i hope.... and submit to the secretriat today... and off i go for my medical appointment @ NUH... service was as slow as previous time... kns... doctor too chatty.... can;t stop toking... delayed my treatment time... thanks god i drove there.. oh well...

got to tanglin as soon as i finish... seeing the cadets improvement had truely touched my heart... at least the NCOs are doing their job already.. seems like the Survival Training Camp they had last week somehow worked on them... which is good! lol..

oh my... m so mentally and physically tired...
thanks to my supervisors... they had been "Great" to us... working my guts out... chionging my work... sweep the floor of other people premises.... print labels for the chairs... do the registrations... cut the cake..... while some others were chatting... sitting around... having fun... while we clerks just do all the shit work and get 2 hrs off... while the rest get 1/2 day? even 1 day off? for all the printing of invitation... send by hand... all the calling... all the organising.. all the hardwork... we dun deserve even a 1/2 day off? another 1 even say... got food already... no off liao.... wah... please... i rather get my meal allowance and the off rather than eat the food man...

this is so inhuman.... 400+ job and do all these shyt... hey... i have back problems... when m in pain.. i dun show out does not mean i'm not in pain... i have high blood also.. i need my rest... i need my water... most importantly... m human! not a robot! u guys are not doing all the work... just delegate... maybe u all ahve to look out for other things... but we are doing all the nunual job... u all might say u guys are using brain... but... does not mean that we dun use brain ok... we run here .. run there... try to everything do nice nice for u all... we are actually very easy people... we dun expect much.. just time off... time for us to rest... and a word of commend.. we are happy...

today the question.. wad time u guys go? oh 8 45... yea 8.45 we leave.. reach home 10 plus... anyway... 6 to 8.45 is 2.45 hrs.. not 2 hrs... and out time to go? we have to wait for us... have to walk home... we dun have a car... we dun earn as much as u guys are... please man... have a heart for us la... i dunno hw m i suppose to work... when my efforts are not appreciated... oni more work to come with no repayment... this is not 以上往来 spirit... is robbing away my health and my time...

today is also central fire station's big day! The Singapore Civil Defence Force is celebrating its 1st and oldest Firestation in Singapore! which stands on its ground for the 100th year! witnessing world war II and other major events happened in singapore! and its the day of our misery and disappointment! zzz...

all i wanna say today is indeed a day well spent!

woke up... had beehoon + noodle for breakfast... its getting worse.. goodness... lol..

after that at abt 1030 am i went to shower... preparing to go out and meet yy and ks!

it was drizzling... hmmm... nice cool weather.... decided to take a bus to vivo... buy my bus concession @ vivo bustop and take 197 there!

oh well.. sorry girls m 15 mins late... haha.. due to bus xfers.. aniway.. u girls were sweet to wait for me.. haha.. thanks though... aniway.. called ks when i reach suntec and she told me she's @ Astons!

walk there... dunno where are they... call again.... ks came out to meet me to bring me inside but oh well.. wadever.. haha.... so.. yy and ks were here... .. we ordered our food and drinks and chatted alot and alot on our course of meals...

Omg! Thank God Is Friday! Almost everyone in the working world would say that... oh well.. maybe for students as well.. esp the lazier ones XD haha

well.. everyone needs their rest... esp when we are all humans... we can;t work for more than 5 or even 6 days straight! its inhumane! goodness... we need time to relax our soul and body.. not forgetting mentally as well!

oh well.. today 1st half of the day, continuing of sending out invitation cards to people.... went up to doris place aka commander's office to take some stuffs and shun bian Doris wanna tell me abt her leave so i could take over!

when over to wai lin's side to chat abit before going off for medical appointment @ NUH! was reallie painfull.. for 1 needle... dam pain can? than doc still put current thru me.. more pain...! but as time passes by.... it nt tht pain animore! and i fallen asleep while acupunture... i''m seriously worn out... zzz...

after which return to Tanglin for some camp matters... packed some ziploc bag for medication and tagged the bigger ziploc bags for personal belongings for the cadets...

after a while... we packed and go off to WCPark to meet shi hui... bid kok farewell and took bus 176 there! when we reach here..settled down.. and guess wad? our HO is at WCPLAZA! omg.. haha.. can;t blame her... cause she dunno our code well... so... we walked over to plaza coffe bean and find her lor.. aha... thank you shi hui for the cake n muffin!

discuss till 8 plus before we leave for dinner.. and we saw fiza... she change alot.. cannot recognise her leh.. siao liao.. must be the age catching up...lol..

aniway.. dinner oni me n bro... so sad.. the rest all went home.. zzz.. lol..

recently i found that i have always been complaining abt busy busy and the word BUSY.. i dunno why... i;m seriously busy in the office ... not oni me.. but jun wei as well...

both of us are busy with central fire station celebrating its 100 years!

yea.. still preparing.. heng JW called lim over so i could be abit lossen in terms of work... i had to do the routine order... my ORD personnel's SAR... alot of things la... knn.. zzzzzz and my work is so tedious... alot of paper work and computer work... m seriously worn out with 50% of my office man power gone, m so busy.. pick up phone calls... do their work etc...

m tired... please... be more sensible guys... u are human.. so m i... shag

Today commissioner is visiting us! so everyone kinda get ready for his arrival!

oh ya! division mess is having a fruit function! i had a durian! so nice can? omg wish i could stay back and eat the durians

after busy for so long! its time to go home! when i reach back home.. there's no dinner =( mom din;t cook dinner today.. she had @ grandma;s place already... so she forgotten abt me... y izzit so? i dunno.. wadever... aniway... she wanted me to order so i just order lor.. shared with sis... pics

A super busy day~ NEW RSM

well today in division came a new RSM... not very good impression.. oh well.. wad to do.. hope he's a nice guy.. so can do work easily.. lol

been busy with clearing ORD NSFs.... than some adhoc stuff.. time pass dam fast man... clerks from 11, 13, 15 came to clear theirORD personnels.. chatted and had lunch with 11 clerks... ntbad.. AV closed for washing i think... had mac instead... oily! zzz

time passes dam fast in the afternoon... was reallie busy with tml's meeting .. had alot of things to preapre la... like the name and designation .. cut n print.. cut n print... clear again... omg... shou bi lei...

came back home... oh ya.. shak and jj asked me if i wanna join them for a meeting for STC at WCPark macdonals... so after my dinner i went over a while.. helped them settled some stuffs and home sweet home for me...

so here i am now.. tpying this post!
